Part 1 (Inspire) - Google Earth is now available through your Chrome Browser. What does that mean? That means we can take the power of Google Earth and use it on a Google Chromebook. Why does that matter? Because connecting kids to the Earth through geo tools is a perfect way to let them see where they are (literally) compared to the rest of the world. It takes a two-dimensional curriculum and extends it to the third-dimension. We will explore not only Google Earth, but a host of other amazing Google Geo tools (Google Earth Engine, Google Streetview, MyMaps, Google Cardboard, etc.). Ready. Set. Explore. Part 2 (Empower) - This session will take a deeper, hands-on look at the incredible Geo tools that Google has to offer and will give you the opportunity to walk away with resources you can use in your schools and classrooms!
