Erik grew up in eastern Washington before going to university at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR. Initially intent on becoming an accountant, Erik fell into teaching through happenstance, and then fell in love with it. He is very interested in how good data collection and analysis can improve someone's experience, both pedagogically and practically. He specializes in working with google sheets to empower teachers, admin, and staff to create custom tools to improve workflow.
