The day will be completed with a showcase of tips and useful tools for G Suite administrators to more efficiently manage and gain visibility. Finally a Q&A period rounds off the day to give the opportunity to dive deeper into discussed topics or to explore other questions and aspects of G Suite for Education.
- G Suite Services & Settings: A look at updates and changes to G Suite and the Admin Console over the last year. Discussions around the changes and their impact on Education will be the focus.
- Deep Dive 1,2,3: Three technical deep dive sessions exploring topics chosen by the group from a large list. Use cases, Admin Console settings and best practices for each will be explored.
- G Suite Admin Tips & Tricks: Efficient management of users, devices and settings. Tools and additional services to help with security, optics, tracking and management.
- Q&A Round table: Group discussions around topics of the day and other G Suite related questions.
Level 2 Google Certification Bootcamp
Move beyond the basics of Google Tools and learn how to maximize 21st century learning in the classroom. Participants explore and create purposeful blended learning lessons while enhancing student understanding of topics and concepts. Learn to organize course work and leverage the Internet to better meet the needs of an increasingly digital curriculum. We’ll explore key units in the Level 2 curriculum including personalized learning models and coaching models.

CS First by Google is a free ready-to-teach introductory computer science (CS) curriculum for elementary and middle school students. Students follow step-by-step instructional videos that introduce fundamental computer science concepts and build computer programs using Scratch, a block-based programming language.
During our CS First by Google workshops, you will learn about the importance of computer science for all students and its role in creating a learning environment that fosters creative problem through peer-to-peer learning. As a teacher, you will get access to free lesson plans, solution sheets, and other educator enrichment resources included in the curriculum. At the end of the workshop, you will walk away with an action plan and strategies for starting to teach CS First and a connection to the growing community of CS First teachers.

Google’s Applied Digital Skills is a free project-based curriculum that equips your students with practical tech skills, including how to make digital presentations, do online research, work with spreadsheets, and more! Through unique challenges and collaborative lessons, your students will engage in real-life problem-solving activities that call upon their creativity and strengthen their knowledge and familiarity of the G Suite apps. In this session to experience Applied Digital Skills as a learner and then set up your own class to use with your students. You’ll also get an overview of the curriculum and brainstorm ways to embed Applied Digital Skills into your existing lessons across the curriculum.
