Date & Time
Tuesday, March 17, 2020, 2:15 PM - 3:15 PM
Description
The Martians are Coming! Wait, they are already here! As our world continues to become more interconnected, it's more important than ever that students have the tools and skills to communicate in 1-1 interactions, small and large settings, and through virtual platforms to communicate globally. Participants will explore resources for teaching presentation literacy so that students know what to say, how to say it, and how to find the inner strength to use their voice with confidence. Attendees will explore free, online, easy-to-use resources to add to their presentation literacy toolkit. Learn how platforms like TED-Ed Clubs, Google Hangouts, Flipgrid, and more empower students to share their ideas and use their voice to make a positive impact on society at both the local and global levels.
