Tracy Cornelius has been teaching high school mathematics since 2000. Of those years, 8 have been with the Gilbert Unified School District in Gilbert, Arizona. She has been awarded "Teacher of the Year" for Canyon Valley High School in 2017. Tracy Cornelius has always been a total geek, from playing video games on the SNES (Super Nintendo) as a kid to playing board games every weekend with family and friends. She implemented Classcraft in her courses in 2014 and loves the way it engages her students. In her spare time,Tracy Cornelius enjoys cycling, hiking, solving logic puzzles, and looking for more ways to engage students using gamification as a motivator.
