“A screencast is a digital recording of computer screen output, also known as a video screen capture, often containing audio narration.” - This session is designed for anyone who wants to create (or have students create) tutorials, instructions, presentations or reflections using easy to use free software in the Chrome browser. Learn how simple videos can be used to support learning & teaching, improve productivity and workflows, flip your classroom content and homework, communicate ideas, and create useful assessments and demonstrations. You will walk away from this session with a new understanding of screencasts as a contemporary teaching and learning tool!
