Josh Harris is an educator who is passionate about bringing equity to all students through access to digital tools and the global community of learners. He has been in public education since 1999. He started in education as an ASL interpreter. From 2000 to 2013 he has worn many different classroom hats, and has taught nearly everything you can teach in a middle school. In October of 2013 he left the classroom to become and Education Technology Specialist (TOSA), supporting over 150 teachers in K-12. In 2016, he became the Director of Educational Technology at Alisal Union School District, an elementary school district in Salinas, CA. In addition to being an authorized Google for Education Certified Trainer and Google for Education Certified Innovator, he is an avid SF Giants and New England Patriots fan, and is an avocational art historian.
