TITLE: AMPLIFYING STUDENT VOICE WITH SCREENCASTIFY & FLIPGRID
This is not about creating your own Youtube “How to fix a bicycle puncture” clip. What changes in education when teachers and students realise that communicating ideas only through text-based media is not the only way? Using recordings from their device all students have a voice, engage and process their thinking. Best of all their ideas are then suspended in a digital space for reflection and debate. Participants will explore how to easily apply these two tools in their classroom.
