Stephen brought 14 years worth of experience as a high school teacher with him when he joined the Snapplify Education and Sales Team. As our resident EdTech Teacher, he helps teachers to embrace digital transformation in the classroom. He is also a certified Level 1 Google Educator. As a teacher, Stephen is energised by helping learners realise their full potential and has taught in a variety of socio-economic and cultural contexts including a township intervention school preparing underprivileged learners for tertiary education and a government ex model C school, specialising in Life Orientation and English. He also spent four years teaching and training in the Japanese education system. Empowering both teachers and learners to fulfil their goals energises Stephen and he is especially passionate about contributing to the challenges facing the South African education system.
