I have been teaching for 19 years in various roles in Lyon County School District. In those 19 years I have taught ECE , Special Education, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, I have been a Literacy Coach as well as an ECE Implementation Specialist. I went to college at UNR and hold a BS in Elementary and Special Education. I have a Master's Degree in Administration (from University of Phoenix), a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education, a Master's Degree in STEM education (from UNR), and I am Nationally Board Certified in Early Childhood Education.

As a Content Area Specialist in Integrated Technology, I help provide professional development to support teachers throughout LCSD, as well as assist LCSD with various curriculum support projects. Our district technology plan is focused on a co-use model with an emphasis on digital creation rather than consumption.
