Description
Learn to make the most of your Chromebook in this fun fast-paced session! Whatever your skill level, there is something for you here, especially if a Chromebook is your daily driver. The session begins with an overview of the simple built-in features that make Chromebooks magic for students and teachers - including customizing your experience, setting up multiple users, and enabling accessibility features that are handy for everyone (like zooming in on parts of the screen while presenting). More intermediate techniques for optimization include productivity extensions, Google Drive apps to extend the productivity of Google Docs, and multi-media web apps; this middle segment is the heart of the session. It’s followed by an exploration of the best Android apps for Chromebooks, including Jamboard (a shared whiteboard app with several AI features to boot), and a quick overview of how to get Linux apps running in parallel too - so you can truly maximize the flexibility of your hardware. The interactive “play along” format of this session ensures all participants are engaged and learning at their level.
