Heard the buzz about coding, but wonder how it might look in your elementary classroom? In this session, we’ll explore a number of free online resources for setting foundations in coding, including Code.org and Scratch. We’ll discuss some possible progressions for building coding lessons and activities into your elementary classroom. Kids love coding, and watching them play will open your eyes to their perseverance, engagement, and collaboration skills.
We’ll also have some hands-on exploration with robots designed for young learners. Be prepared to play and learn with Dash, Sphero, BeeBot, and Ozobots!
