Village Academy High School (VAHS) of Information Technology and Film Production is one of three academies in the Pomona Unified School District that provide a different academic experience compared to a traditional comprehensive high school. At Village Academy the school specializes in video production while still providing an A-G and rigorous college ready curriculum. Additionally, our partnership with the National Academy Foundation gives you access to film production industry level training
and cross-curricular learning that is unique to any high school within and outside of Pomona Unified. The school prides itself in providing students with the ability to take a hands-on approach to learning and digital story telling while simultaneously attaining key skills like communication, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration that will be beneficial for them in their post high school college or career experience. The small learning environments and being a fully indoor high school gives students access to technology in 100% of classrooms and modern 21st century teaching and learning. The campus is an open California style campus connected to the Village at Indian Hill where other District offices are located.
