Samantha Bennett is a fourth grade teacher at Fern Creek Elementary. She serves as the Chair for the Math Committee in her building and collaborates in the MDC Cohort in the district. Samantha has presented at a district-wide Google PLC and the JCPS Deeper Learning Symposium. Her mathematical experiences has led to a better understanding of what mastery looks like at many grade levels. Her classroom is student-lead through a math workshop model of rigorous activities and hands-on learning. Samantha Bennett is determined to make math accessible to all students.
