Sarah Stoeckl, senior project manager in the ISTE Standards department, is motivated to empower educators to make learning authentic, relevant and engaging with the use of technology.

At a high level, her work at ISTE supports K-12 implementation and understanding of the ISTE Standards. Her projects range from the multi-year push to refresh the ISTE Standards for a rapidly changing world to creating content and resources to aid educators.

Sarah is driven by equity and social justice, supporting and engaging others to achieve their goals and a fascination with diverse ways of recognizing knowledge, including open badges and microcredentials.

She holds a Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Oregon.
