Daniel began his career teaching in a special education classroom for students who required therapeutic intervention for behavioral issues. It was in this role that he first realized that traditional teaching strategies wouldn't be enough to engage his students. That same realization hit Daniel three years later when he moved into the traditional classroom. Since then he has challenged himself to find new ways to drive his students to be creative, work together, engage a sense of wonder, and have fun. This challenge lead him to establishing the Google for Education and Chromebook programs at his school. Successes and failures have encouraged him to continue looking for new ways to implement technology inside the classroom.
