In this introductory session on computer programming, we’ll explore several coding applications that will allow all teachers, regardless of skill-level, to expose all students to the opportunities of computer programming. We’ll start with Google’s Pencilcode.com which allows students to create art projects through computer programming. From there, we’ll get a brief demonstration of MIT’s Android App Inventor. Finally, we’ll look at MIT’s Lego Mindstorm project where students can build their own robots.
