Description
The challenges educators are confronted with are real, complex, and varied. And as such, they require new perspectives, new tools, and new approaches. Design Thinking is one of them. Design thinking is a creative process, a powerful way of thinking, a way of working and a collection of hands-on methods which can have a significant impact on the culture of learning in your classroom. In this workshop, participants will learn design thinking by applying this innovative framework to a series of challenges and will leave equipped with an understanding of the key tenets of design thinking. Designing meaningful solutions in the classroom will help teachers build creative confidence, equity awareness and encourage the belief that everyone can be part of creating a more desirable future for our schools and our children.
