Irene Basson is a language teacher at heart and her interest in technology stems from a desire to create innovative lessons and engage students in the learning process. Currently she is the Director of IT Teaching and Learning at St John’s College, where she leads the integration of technology in the curriculum, staff professional development and student learning. Irene holds a Masters degree in Educational Technology and as a certified Google Innovator and Educator and Apple Professional Learning Specialist, she presents at numerous conferences. She is passionate about empowering teachers and sharing innovative ideas with larger communities of practice.
