Description
Google’s Science Journal app is a free digital science toolbox that allows students to make observations, take photos, and collect sensor-based data to record light, sound, and movement anywhere using an iPhone, iPad, Android, and/or Chromebook device. We will begin with a guided walkthrough of the Science Journal’s features/sensors followed by time to explore several high quality inquiry-based lesson plans that you can use with students. In the last segment we will work together to design simple open-inquiry experiments using the Science Journal to collect data, document our findings, and compare results.
