Formative assessment is crucial to student success, but it can be laborious and time consuming for the teacher. We will explore a very powerful free tool called GoFormative to make this easier. This tool will help you quickly assess where your students are at, so you can work smarter, not harder. It allows you to ask questions and get responses in multiple formats including annotated text, multiple choice, short answer, etc. Although we will focus on math in this session, GoFormative is applicable in any subject and at almost any grade.
