Getting Going with Google Drive, Docs and Slides 101 - Come and learn the basics of Google Drive as we explore Google Docs and Google Slides.  We'll share ways you can create, collaborate and share using these apps. We'll also share some ways to begin organizing Google Drive.  No experience necessary but this is a foundational class for any teacher.

Using Google Forms for Distance Learning 101 - No Google Forms experience required! Learn the basics of Google Forms, including creating a variety of question types, layout and functionality within Google Forms, and how to view and analyze the data. Hear from a teacher who uses Google Forms regularly in instruction, and have the opportunity to try out different lesson examples using Forms as surveys, assignments, and assessments.

Using Google Sheets 101 In this session we'll cover the basics of Google Sheets.  A few formulas, how to sort data, create some charts and event let Google do some work for us with the Explore tab and Pivot Tables.

Using Google Slides and Google Drawings to Enhance the Classroom - Slides are the perfect tool to capture you students attention.  Divided image, Reveals, Moving GIF's are all skills we will explore to tell your content. We'll also explore Google Drawings and how to plan engaging lessons using Google Drive's least known superhero.

Using Google Forms for Distance Learning 202 - A Google Form is a simple data collection tool...or is it? While it is simple and user-friendly, the possibilities are endless for use in the classroom! We will go over creating questions and sections, quiz mode, setting up a choose-your-own-adventure form, using data validation, and common settings and add-ons to truly get the most out of Forms in your daily work!

Using Google Chrome - Apps & Extensions 101 -  Chrome extensions add fun, flair and even functionality to your Chrome browser! Add ons add more functionality to the Drive apps you’re already using. Come experience some necessary, useful, fun, and functional Extensions and Add Ons to help with your distance learning lessons in this session.

Best Practices in Distance Learning: Connection Before Content - Checking-in with students and maintaining relationships in a remote setting have never been more important. We’ll dig into best practices, strategies, and tools for building and maintaining culture in an online environment. We’ll overview a curated shortlist of ideas to address challenges and get hands-on with a couple of strategies/tools you can use tomorrow.  Focus tools include Google Forms, Pear Deck and Flipgrid.

We’ll overview a curated shortlist of ideas to address challenges and get hands-on with a couple of strategies/tools you can use for feedback as well.  Focus tools will include Google Forms, Google Classroom and other digital assessment tools.

Best Practices - Keeping Students Engaged for Distance Learning - Keeping students engaged during distance learning is important.  Come to this session to learn about how you can create engaging learning experiences - asynchronous and synchronous for distance learning.  We'll explore live classroom meetings with Googel Meet, ways to deliver content to keep learning engaging (EdPuzzle, Screencasting) and ways that students can show what they know using digital tools (Adobe Spark and Flipgrid).  This is a fast paced session that will give you lots of ideas to use with students for distance learning.
