Heidi Trude has been teaching French for 10 years at Skyline High School in Front Royal, VA. In 2012, she established a partnership with the Lycee Bazin in Charleville-Mezieres, France. She was named the 2014 Rotary Teacher of the Year for Warren County. She became one of the first teachers to become a Google Certified Educator in Warren County. Heidi currently is a Google Certified Educator Level 1 and Level 2, as well as a Google for Education Certified Trainer. Heidi is the 2017 Region IV Teacher of the Year for the State of Virginia. Heidi was selected as part of the 2017 EdTech Team Master Class World Tour and served as part Leadership Cohort in New York City. Heidi was also selected as a participant for the 2017 Google Geo Institute in Mountain View, CA. She is very passionate about technology integration and loves sharing that passion with others.
