Description
How would you teach your classes if your school shut down for a day? How would you adapt your lessons to suit an online learning environment? This is the challenge facing my school each year during the Melbourne Grand Prix. Since 2015, my school has held 10 'digital delivery days'. During these days teachers and students work from home and interact virtually through the use of G Suite, either synchronously (in real time) or asynchronously. Each of these days has followed a different them, with 'playfulness' being the theme in 2018. In this session we will outline how these days run, some of the major challenges we have faced as well as provide a range of lesson ideas and activities that teachers have used during these days.
