Frederick is an ISTE Certified Educator, Google for Education Certified Innovator (#NYC19 cohort) and Trainer, Microsoft Innovative Educator, and an Apple Teacher with Swift Playgrounds recognition that is passionate about leveraging technology to make the daily work of educators more efficient, their teaching more engaging, and their lives more fulfilling. He is focused on flipped instruction to better meet the needs of students. Frederick earned his BA in music education from the University of Minnesota at Morris with majors in trombone and voice and his Masters in Curriculum and Instruction focused on Arts Integration from Lesley University, He is currently working on a Masters of Science degree in Educational Technology from Mankato State University. Frederick has taught beginning instrumental music in Bloomington since 1998.
