Set free from a family of accountants, Lee began his elementary teaching career in 1997. He holds an Ed Tech Master's degree and perennially looks for new ways to integrate best practices in teaching with technology. He is currently a Technology Integrationist in Bloomington with long history as a classroom teacher who comes alongside others seeking to move further along the technology continuum. Lee is a Google Certified Educator - Level 1 and a Seesaw Ambassador. (Addressing him as “Ambassador Nelson” makes him feel uncomfortable, so please just call him Lee.) He enjoys family time, the outdoors, juggling and finding the balance between the benefits of a "tuned-in" world and the joys of just unplugging.
