I taught fifth grade in Bloomington for seven years. Through the curation and creation of digital content, I transformed my math classroom into a standards-aligned, student-centered learning environment. Students had control of where they learned, how they learned, and the pace in which they moved through the standards. Now, as a digital learning coordinator, I am using my knowledge of student-centered learning to help other teachers implement new modes of teaching and learning in their classrooms.
