Anecia Scott, tech advocator and enthusiast, is committed to the helping teachers move beyond being “Technology Literate”. Having served as an educator for the last 13 years, She has spent the last five years as Instructional Technology Trainer/Facilitator and now works with the Lakeland School System. Anecia has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Information Systems, a Master’s and Education Specialist degree in Education. Currently, she is a doctoral student at the University of Memphis majoring in Instructional Design and Technology.

Outside of work and school, She enjoys spending time with her children, London and Sebastian. As well, Anecia finds enjoyment in learning new and engaging ways to utilize technology to facilitate student learning. She believes “if you can reach a few teachers and turn their minds “light bulbs” on, simply image how many minds “light bulbs” they can turn on for their students."
