Description
Scientists are on an expedition to locate a centuries old lost shipwreck in the Caribbean. While searching, the scientists discover the perfect coral reef, full of many types of ocean species, to anchor at. They put on their diving suits and get ready to do a little research. Little do the scientists know what they are about to see farther down when they dive in! They have discovered the famous lost shipwreck! The only problem is that the shipwreck is surrounded by sharks. The only way they can photograph and explore all the artifacts from the shipwreck is to get back to the boat QUICKLY and SAFELY, and retrieve the shark repellent to scare away the sharks! Come experience game-based learning with a curricular connection to computer science and computational thinking. Breakout EDU creates ultra-engaging learning games for students and adults of all ages. Games (Breakouts) teach teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting by presenting participants with challenges that ignite their natural drive to problem-solve. Breakouts are perfect for classrooms, staff trainings, dinner parties, and at home with the family! At the end of a Breakout, your players will be eager for the next! Speciality K-12 Breakouts are available to teach core academic subjects including math, science, history, language arts and have embedded standards that apply problem solving strategies within a real world OR collaborative context. For beginner, intermediate, and geeky participants. Limited to 15 participants per session. Sign up at: http://bit.ly/breakoutoc2
