Description
Even our youngest students can CREATE with the fabulous tools offered by Google! In this introductory-level session, get an overview and see examples of Primary students using Google Docs, MyMaps, Forms, Draw, and Google Classroom! I’ll share tips and tricks for managing All-Things-Google with our littlest learners. The Common Core asks that students use digital tools to generate content. In this session, we will explore ways that students can practice early keyboarding and revise authentic writing by creating Google Documents. Also, we'll discuss Google Forms for classroom votes, ""Question of the Day"", a Checking for Understanding tool, and more! We’ll look at Google Slides to deliver content, and explore ways to have students create individual or collaborative presentations that can be recorded as screencasts! Also, see how Google Spreadsheets can be used to gather and organize information as well as support elementary Common Core Math standards to have students generate custom graphs and charts using data they have collected themselves. Finally, we’ll look at Google Draw to add interactive creativity! Participants will leave with samples, templates, and resources they can implement with their little learners immediately!
