Description
The Standards of Mathematical Practice ask that our students engage with numbers in a whole new way! There are many amazing and FREE online resources designed to support the development of the math practice standards while engaging young learners though play, inquiry, and authentic tasks. Wouldn't it be nice if your students' math worksheets gave them immediate feedback? In this session, we'll explore a number of tools that will do just that. They may think they are playing games, but you will know that they are developing mathematical reasoning, solving problems, constructing models, and making their math thinking visible! Resources Featured will Include Seesaw AND: Illuminations by the NCTM, Digital manipulatives by The Math Learning Center, Which One Doesn't Belong
