Stacy teaches 7th and 8th grade history and is a Technology Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) for the district. Stacy provides EdTech training and support for new teachers going through the Induction (BTSA) program as well as their support providers. At her school site, Stacy piloted a 1:1 blended learning environment using Chromebooks in the classroom and she created and currently advises the Student Tech Team. In 2015, she was honored by her school site as Teacher of the Year. Stacy strongly believes in the power of student voice and is passionate about empowering students to be leaders in the classroom and with technology. Stacy is a Google Certified Innovator, Google Certified Trainer, Microsoft Innovative Educator, and PBS Digital Innovator.
