ena has a passion for education and for Pear Deck! As a former Blended Learning Coach in the midwest and Instructional Technology Coordinator at a forward thinking school district in Ohio, she thrives on instilling passion back into teachers and students for a love of teaching and learning. She loves public speaking, and her TedTalk has been featured at ISTE, FredTalk at OETC, and presented several other sessions at FETC, ISTE, Learn21, Google Summits, Illuminate Education, ITIP and more.

Jena has her Undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Music Education and a Masters in Administration. She has a son in pre-school, and another in Kindergarten, while her husband is the Lead Assistant Principal at Pickerington Central High School; so education runs in the family.

In her “spare time”, Jena is a referee for the VEX robotics program, loves cycling, has a photography business, and keeps a 180 gallon saltwater tank!
