Scratch is quickly and not-so-quietly becoming one of the biggest coding platforms for students world wide. The recent launch of 3.0 makes it tablet friendly, creating more opportunities for access for students across Ontario. However, there seems to the idea that all "Scratchers" do is make games. In this workshop we explore music composition, digital story telling, using Scratch to model questions from the Ontario Elementary Math Curriculum, specifically around Probability, electronic polling, and "big data" and the nuances of Artificial Intelligence.
