Nate is the Director of Personalized Learning for ReNEW Schools in New Orleans, LA. Previously, Nate taught for 6 years in public, private, and charter schools in Washington D.C. and New Orleans. A Google Certified Trainer and Innovator as well as Apple Teacher, Nate consults with schools and presents at conferences on redesigning instruction through technology integration, innovation, and personalized learning. Nate is also passionate about collaborative professional learning, as a co-founder of New Schools for New Orleans’ Personalized Learning Teacher Fellowship, Louisiana’s monthly teacher Twitter chat, #LAedchat, and Louisiana’s Google Educator Group (GEG), as well as being an organizer for New Orleans’ EdCampNOLA, EdTechMeetups, and Personalized Learning Community of Practice.
