Participants will be introduced to using Doctopus and Goobric as a faster way to assess student writing and other extended response work. Teachers can push out a Google Docs-based assignment in Classroom. After work is completed, teachers can quickly assess student writing in Doctopus using a rubric with Goobric. The feedback is summarized in Sheets, allowing teachers to see entire class performance and feedback on one sheet, and can then set up conferences and next steps quickly! This session is ideal for teachers who currently have working experience with Classroom, writing assignments in Docs, and a basic knowledge of Sheets. Foundational knowledge of these three items will be briefly addressed, but not covered in depth.
