This session introduces you to the best practice methods to tackle teaching STEM to students with various special education needs and likewise can be applied to a mainstream setting. It outlines a range of resources, devices and lesson ideas to apply in your own classroom and how to effectively modify or adapt your practice to suit various student abilities. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage hands-on with a range of these materials and collaborate with others as to how they could use them in their setting. Finally, there will be opportunity to ask questions and share ideas with other participants, allowing everyone to walk away with enhanced knowledge and inspiring ideas. It would be ideal for attendees to come with a tablet device but not essential.
