Description
Blogging can improve students’ writing skills and build confidence as writers. By blogging, students can take ownership of their writing, become better observers of others’ writing, and develop a more immediate and powerful understanding of audience. It gives them an authentic audience and allows them to make connections to students all over the country/world. In this workshop, participants will gain ideas about how to create and engage parents and students in a class blog as well ways to showcase cross-curricular student writing and projects through individual student blogs.
