Description
Project-Based Learning is a promising approach to education, and it is becoming more and more widespread. However, much research shows that PBL has a weak effect size compared to most strategies. How can such a promising methodology have such weak results? This session uses the latest research from cognitive science to show where past PBL models fell short of their goals, and how we can use those findings to improve the learning outcomes for project-based learning.
