You don’t have to search very far or hard to find countless apps that allow for rote practice of literacy and phonics skills. In this session Mia will show you how to move beyond the drill and kill and blend ipads with best practices to create fun and meaningful digital literacy activities that engage students more deeply. Mia will demonstrate how to use apps like Explain Everything to create differentiated phonics sorts for students. She will guide you through a Jot and Draw lesson to increase comprehension. She will also share how to created differentiated videos for that push fluency and phonemic awareness skills.
