Swift Current is a dynamic city of approximately 18,500 people. It is the major population centre for southwest Saskatchewan. The City has become a great stop for tourists with the large volume of non-local traffic passing through on the Trans-Canada Highway.

Swift Current is proud to boast a vibrant downtown business core. The downtown also features the popular Market Square each Saturday from 10 am-3 pm from June until September. The City also features two large shopping malls, the Swift Current Mall and Wheatland Mall, with a variety of stores and businesses. Swift Current is home to many of the retails giants that exist in larger urban centres. There is a shopping experience for everyone!

The Great Sandhills area is located 159 km north of Swift Current, the Great Sandhills cover 1,900 square kilometres. The dunes are always moving and create an ever-changing landscape for artists and photographers.
