Description
The learning intention for this session is to provide participants with a deeper understanding of Algorithms within the 'Design and Production Skills' and 'Digital Technologies Knowledge' outcomes within the new Science and Technology K-6 syllabus (NESA); and the Processes and Production Skills strand of the Digital Technologies syllabus (Australian Curriculum). Coding concepts will be explored through the lens of the Bruner Model and create a number guessing game. The three phases are: - Enactive - You will play the Number Guessing game and write down the steps needed to play - Iconic - You will use the written instructions to create a flowchart - Symbolic - You will be introduced to Scratch and use the flowchart previously created to program the Number Guessing game.
