Description
Higher-order thinking skills (analyze, evaluate, and create) are of essential importance in the learning in high school. This session aims to share with teachers great ways to use Google Spreadsheets in the classroom so that the students can analyze and evaluate data and information collected. The students can also apply what they have learned to generate new concepts. The use of comments in Google Spreadsheets also enhances peer assessment, which is not only for evaluation, but also for a sense of belonging to a learning community, which in turn helps students learn better and more deeply.
