Description
In the session, teachers will learn the origins and mission statement of Global Read Aloud. Real-life classroom examples will be shared demonstrating how reading one book can engage students through the use of technology and making global connections. Numerous examples of how Twitter, Facebook, Kahoot, Google Apps for Education, Padlet, Write About, Kidblog, Edmodo, iMovie, YouTube, Skype, Pen Pal Letters and so many more can be used to make those connections. Teachers will be given time to explore past books and sign up and make connections for Global Read Aloud in October 2018.
