Carl Lyman, a teacher of 30+ years. He has taught grades from Second grade through high school and adults. Most of his teaching was in a high school classroom teaching computer programming, information technology, and business computer classes. He also worked 10 years for the Utah State Office of Education (USOE) as the CTE Information Technology & Computer Science Specialist. He has given numerous presentations using computers at state and national conferences. The first computing presentation was in 1982 on teaching Logo in a Elementary classroom. He has facilitated and taught many IT and coding workshops for teachers in Utah to help them teach IT, computer science, and Code.org’s Fundamental courses. He has used Google’s Form and Sheet programs along with the use of the =query() function with its SQL subset to analysis and publish the information for several different projects.
