Name
Seesaw - Stepping Up Your Classroom Engagement, Assessment and Community
Date & Time
Saturday, March 10, 2018, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Description
In this session you will learn how to use Seesaw to create a free, digital portfolio for each student in your classroom. It will be a place for you to collect and assess student work, parents to see what their child is doing in your classroom and students will love that they are sharing their work with an audience. They can comment on and “like” each other’s work (if you choose). Seesaw works well with most of the popular educational apps so you can do App Smashing. Students can easily add pictures, drawings, videos, captions, audio recordings, links, PDF’s, and Google Docs to their account. Seesaw also allows students to include work from Google Classroom. My students call it educational Facebook and I love that I have documentation of their progress in one place and can access it from anywhere with internet connection. Please join me for this session that will quickly and easily change your classroom. Seesaw works with the following platforms: iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Chromebooks, and any computer using Firefox or Chrome Browsers.
