We will demonstrate how to create your own Teams and explore ways to effectively collaborate with your class and colleagues. Learn to set up breakout rooms for small group instruction or personalized instruction to reach all learners. We want to help show you that distance learning is not so scary!

Part 2:  Collaboration in Teams (The Best of O365)

Build your Microsoft Team to support your synchronous and asynchronous learning environment. This session will cover how to keep your class organized and discover a variety of ways utilize Teams. We will showcase how to add Tabs to engage students with activities from familiar Microsoft programs like Word and PowerPoint. In this workshop we will show you how to integrate other educational interactive programs to Teams and showcase the collaboration abilities all these programs have when working inside Teams. Look out for neat integrations with Flipgrid, Wakelet and so much more!

Part 3: Assessment in Teams (Assignments & OneNote/Class Notebook)

In this hands-on workshop we will cover the assignment tab as we create rubrics and explore how to seamlessly provide student feedback into a grade book across different virtual classroom Teams! We will focus on how to incorporate student digital binders by using Microsoft OneNote to support student organization. Learn to ensure students have the necessary resources and open lines of communication to succeed in an online environment with formative and summative assessments.
