Description
If every child is a learner, then why do some students succeed in school while others do not? What causes the predictability of who succeeds and fails in our schools? Is it possible that large data, separated from actual students, could actually contribute to the predictability of the problem? Every teacher has the power to disrupt this pattern through the development of relationships, innovative use of technology to leverage opportunities for relearning, and awareness of the fact that there is a child behind every data point. We can do this! In 45-60 minutes, we will attempt to deconstruct the problem and offer potential solutions based on our classrooms, and our students.
