A teacher of 17 years at Whangarei Intermediate School. Of these 17 years I have worked 12 years in a Reo Rua (Bilingual) setting.
In 2017 I've spent Term 2-4 transitioning students into using Te Reo Māori and tikanga 50-80% of their school day through flipped learning. I've also been flipping since Term 2, 2017.
I've been part of a Digital Immersion cluster for 3 years. Prior to this I was the school's Lead Teacher of ICT. Have a 1:1 eLearning classroom which is in it's 4th year.
Qualifications: BEd (Teacher), Google Certified Educator Level 1, Flipped Level 1 & 2 Certification, Level 1 Flipped Trainer Certification.
