W J Mouat Secondary

During its thirty year history, W.J. Mouat Secondary has grown from a brand new junior high with a population of 150 students and nine teachers, to one of Canada's top high schools boasting over 1500 students with well over 80 teachers.

Built in 1973 and named after the then superintendent W. J. "Bill" Mouat, the school opened to a small group of eager grade eight and nine students. Since then, Mouat has transitioned to a secondary school with grades 8 through 12 and then, in the early 2000's to a 9-12 secondary.

Mouat has been recognized provincially and throughout Canada for its Academic, Athletic, Fine Arts, Technology Education and Community Service achievements.  For more information, visit their website.
